The Suntropolitan is an ezine (digital magazine) focusing on local restaurants, artists in literature, fashion, music, or craft and the lifestyle of coastal living in Dunedin Florida. Featuring coverage of local events and traditions in Dunedin Florida as well as our neighboring coastal towns of Clearwater Beach and Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks.

The name Dunedin comes from Dùn Èideann the Scottish Gaelic name for Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland.  Dunedin is home to one of the world’s greatest beaches, Caladesi Island State Park.  Dunedin has several beaches including Dunedin Causeway and Honeymoon Island.  It is also neighbor to Clearwater Beach which is known for its powdery white sands.  This city has a small town feel nestled in the great metropolis of Tampa Bay.
