While Hurricane Matthew threatened our east coast, those who ventured out to not miss the local festivities of this years Oktoberfest, the Dunedin Brewery still hosted their annual celebration with beer, sausage, and great live music.
On Saturday night the featured outdoor band was the Joe Marcinek Band which when I briefly spoke with Joe he stated he was originally from Chicago. JMB music is funky, jazzy, and with a little rock-n-roll. I enjoyed discovering their compilations of old-school sounds with their original tracks. Made up of guest musicians, (Steve Molitz on keyboard, Freekbass on bass, drummer Pete Koopmans, and an unidentified saxophone player) Joe Marcinek Band gave us an evening filled with good vibes and electric sounds that made the crowd dance the night away.
