Dia De Los Muertos 2016

Happy Halloween!  Another Day Of The Dead event went without disappointment.  Everywhere I pointed my camera there was a great costume to snap a picture of.  The festivities began at 3 pm and continued on till 10 pm ending with a great street parade.  The temperature was in our lower 80’s with clear skies.  The day was perfect and the spirit of the celebration was high.  The creativity of the local citizens was impressive to say the least.  Wow!  What a spectacular display of creativity and talent.  We hope to see you again next year! To the millennials, most didn’t notice how much influence the Romans had. Yet, some were surprised to hear how some of the songs they heard that night were originally played by the Ramon’s. Such as “I Wanna Be Sedated” and “Hey Ho, Lets Go” which is found in most stadiums cheering on the home team.  PUNK was the night!
